Salt Dough Earth
Happy Earth Day! I’ve always loved celebrating Earth Day with art. There are tons of ideas out there for recycled material art, crafts and activities that get you thinking about Mother Earth. Before we get to the project, here is a great book to get us going.
This project combines two things I love, sculpture and the earth! We are going to make up a batch of salt dough to us as our clay. Salt dough can be hardened in two ways, air dried for 2-3 days or baked in an over at 200 degrees for 1-2 hours. Here are the ingredients and supplies you need to gather.
